With the installation and activation of the three new red light cameras in Gloucester Township, please remember that when coming off of Rt 42 then turning south on Erial-New Brooklyn Rd, to come to a complete STOP before turning.
When your vehicle passes the crosswalk line, after the light has changed red, your vehicle’s picture will be taken 3 times if you do not stop before turning.
A Gloucester Township police officer will review the pictures/video to determine if an traffic violation warrants a citation.
After you receive the citation, Gloucester Township police say that you can go online to view a video of the incident in question.
Just remember to come to a COMPLETE stop at all lights that are red, but especially those with red light cameras, before making your right turn on red.
